On Sunday I did a basketball tournament we vs Westland, Buller and west coast there was a development team, there were four good people in are the team that was Will, Archie, Marko. and Neo, Neo was the best in the team, even he is good he is fair, he passes the ball to everyone, he is also kind and nice to everyone. We vs Westland first, when we played I was on the bench But Neo and Archie were on, Neo got the first lay lap, about five minutes later win were winning by a lot, I forgot what the score was but we won, I got eight-point which was good, we had a break so the group sat down on eating some food when it was the next game against the west coast development squad we beat them easy but they are our friends the score was about 72-6 I think, last we vs Buller, the last basketball tournament they won but we did not have Neo and Marko, but we won against them which was good.

Harold- Learning about Empathy

 This week Harold is visiting our school with Monz. Monz and Harold are teaching us all about empathy and what it means to be a good friend. We had some very interesting conversations yesterday and even got to travel to outer space to see what it would be like if we were all the same.

Collaboration

Some amazing collaboration happening today. We have begun planning our own pick a path stories and used this opportunity to fine tune our group collaboration work. It was amazing to see everyone taking their turn to speak and listening to each other ideas before compromising.

Today in Ngahere we all hade to do a Kirimete wishlist (Christmas wishlist).it was challenging thinking what to put on my list and finding pictures. it was easy for me to write the words in Māori because I used the Māori dictionary. WALT: learn how to write an onomatopoeia poem.
Today we had to make an onomatopoeia poem. An onomatopoeia poem is words that you can hear and say. We had to write 16 words that are onomatopoeia. I found difficult was thinking of words that are onomatopoeia that rime.

If I could go back in time I would go back to Room 4 because it was the funniest year of my school life and it was the craziest. Also, I made A LOT of mistakes so then I can fix them and never think anything of them ever again!
