Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu

Kia ora,
We are Ngahere class from Paroa School in Greymouth. We are a class of 21 Year 5 and 6 students and our teacher is Miss Farr. We are a fun loving class who love to get outside and play games or go down to the beach and build huts. When it is a rainy day we enjoy sitting inside playing Monopoly Deal (our new favourite card game) or having a round of silent ball.

For most of us this is our second year participating in Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu and we are really excited about getting the chance to learn more about our buddy classes and the different things they are learning.

  8. Hello Paroa school, What a spectacular photo and even poses wow. I like the poses more. When I heard about your fun loving school I could tell that you could get your manners quickly. It made me learn that anyone can have fun at certain times. Is it true when you go to the beach and swim salt comes in your eyes. Sorry if this is dumb since I have not been at the beach before.

  10. Hello my name is Josaia, you guys look like a very happy school by looking at your picture, I have learned not to throw my rubbish on the ground or leaving it every where, what is the summer reading journey is it about reading a book every day or writing about your book every day or learning something new about your book every day.

  13. Kia Ora. Malo e Lelei. Bula Vinka. Aloha. Talofa Lava.

This is St Pius X School from Auckland. We are room 5. We are happy to learn with your school. We enjoy playing games (Mauri) and we enjoy doing CRAZY things! We LOVE playing sports like rugby and rippa. Sometimes we take it too far for our teacher...but we always have fun!.

We always have goals every morning...that means to make good choices, to think positively about what we can do and at the end of the day we do PEAKS and TROUGHS. For every trough, you MUST have a PEAK!

We like any subject the teacher gives us, but we all have our own favourite subject.

We look forward to blogging with you in the future, keep in touch with our class blog!
