Arthur’s Pass Camp Day 1

We have had an amazing first day of camp. We arrived at Arthur’s Pass at 10.30 this morning. After we got our rooms sorted we headed out to do orienteering. We loved running around the village and finding all the markers! After lunch we headed up the Devils Pumchbowl walk. We had a great work but got extremely wet and cold. After our tramp we then went and did a river crossing. As the river was up quite high instead of crossing the whole way we crossed to halfway and the practised our retreating. Overall we have had a great day and can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in stall for us.
